eQ's Information Experience (IX) team believes that information fuels business by establishing products value in a way that customers and users can understand, adopt, and use the product effectively. With a solid foundation in technical documentation, we're now elevating our Information Experience to directly influence both customer and product usability. As part of our Information Experience Design team based in Pune (India), you will work closely with the business and product stakeholders to innovate and implement engaging ways of presenting information.

Our Principal Information Experience Designer is responsible to:

• Drive customer engagement by creating innovative product videos.
• Create platform stories that have visually rich solution guides and technical blogs.
• Boost business through value-centric release communication.
• Strengthen self-service by fuelling the AI assistant with appropriate technical content.
• Enhance the product experience with engaging UI micro copies.
• Influence the digital customer experience by enriching the customer portal.
• Contribute towards the content strategy and defining the information experience.
• Be a torch bearer by leading POCs and projects.
• Ensure quality by reviewing IX artefacts and creating guidelines.

Key success factors:

You likely began your journey as a technical writer or an instructional designer and have since explored various other aspects of information. Here's what we will count on:

• 12+ years of technical writing or instructional designing experience.
• Lead from the front and take ownership.
• Love experimenting with language and information.
• Strong foundation in technical writing or instructional designing.
• Understand relevance and nuances of UX writing.
• Enjoy building rich media content (videos and graphics).
• Imbibed information design and mapping principles.
• Primarily created content for software products.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Diploma or certification in Technical Writing or Instructional Designing.

Soft skills

• Self-driven and can work with minimum supervision.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with local and remote coworkers.
• Looking forward to ways to learn and improve yourself.
