Principal Enterprise Architect Data Enablement
Role Profile
The Principal Enterprise Architect is responsible for technical strategy, designing, developing and implementing solutions and from business requirement.
This role will be responsible for supporting Corporate Data Enablement team in delivering best of breed technical practice based around core toolset of Snowflake Data Warehouse, Matillion ELT tooling and PowerBI. The role may require team leadership of both permanent staff and external resources

Responsibilities
- Defining and executing platform strategy in partnership with product owners.
- Stakeholder management responsibilities ensuring System Architecture Designs (SAD) meet all security, infrastructure, product and other internal requirements
- Via internal governance frameworks, achieve approval for SADs then design, develop and implement approved capability using agreed tooling and techniques into Corporate Technology
- Maintain Network Topology documentation in conformance with LSEG requirements
- Guiding the team in defining the analytics, reporting and data integration solutions
- Become SME within Corporate Data Enablement team capable of explaining our product suite and engaging with wide audience
- Identify opportunities for CDE (Corporate Data Exchange) to reduce risk, reduce cost, improve business efficiency and deliver business benefit
- Contribute to the Centre for Enablement delivering:
- Preferred integration patterns
- Identify and promote best practice
- Advice, guide and assistance to disparate teams seeking integration
- Contribute to evolving LSEG policies and standards
- Investigate and qualify emerging products and technologies identified by Architecture for suitability for integration within Corporate Data Enablement product suite
- Ensure that all processes and documentation are adequate and effective to meet support and audit requirements.
- Provide frequent status reporting to the Stakeholders.
- Lead on cross-service improvement initiatives particularly relating to integration and divestment work
- Enhance people and capability build up responsibility
Candidate Profile / Key skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of data through previous hands-on design, development and implementation of IT systems.
- Proficient in Data Warehouse Designing and modelling Concepts
- Good understanding of data lineage, mastering and enrichment concepts.
- Proficient in ETL & ELT tools
- Experience in working with cloud technologies
- Excellent understanding and work experience with Snowflake
- Proficient in abstracting complex, detailed orientated messages into format appropriate to target audience
- Proactive, determined and resilient, with a positive attitude.
- Extensive and demonstrable problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong negotiation / influencing skills able to overcome resistance and reach consensus and compromise in order to attain the required objective.
