Role Summary
As Principal Engineer - P6 Administrator/Developer you will be part of the NZiCRC PMO team in WSP India and operate out of our Bengaluru office. The role will provide Primavera P6 admin support to users across the Project Controls, M&E and NZ businesses; involves interaction with Project and Design Managers as well as multi-disciplinary, geographically spread teams working in Australia and New Zealand regions on a range of domains across Rail, Highways and Civil infrastructure.
An ideal candidate for this role is expected to fulfill the role of Primavera P6 user administrator, P6 Project administrator, Database maintenance, System update and maintenance (liaising with Oracle). You must be an advanced level user of P6 with a proven experience of working as P6 administrator supporting users in different geographies outside India. You will be accountable for the quality, follow due review and verification processes and generally ensuring that your work is comprehensive, realistic, and aligned with project and user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities of the role include Primavera P6 EPPM administration, P6 Cloud based administration, Database maintenance, including liaising with Oracle.
- Liaise with IT to arrange user testing and acceptance of upgrades, and communication with users. Support Project Controls user base in operating and maintaining Primavera systems and provide advice on technical issues as they arise.
- Provide and implement solutions regarding P6 integration with 3rd party solutions.
- Work with Technical Principal Programming and Planning (NZ) to:
- Implement and configure Oracle Primavera to satisfy agreed business processes, improve user's P6 skills to raise level of competency.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement changes and develop innovative approaches and techniques for project planning to improve the reliability and consistency.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends; Proactively undertake skill development and upgradation to meet operational and strategic needs; Assist in the acceleration of technical growth of the team.
- Provide Client scheduling support on an as required bases.
Qualifications & skills
Minimum Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in qualification in the fields of Construction / Engineering.
- Proven expertise in implementation of Primavera P6 EPPM, P6 user administration, P6 Project administration, scheduling, schedule risk assessments and project performance measurement.
- Experience in supporting large-scale Infrastructure projects eg. Tunnelling, Highways, Rail etc.
- Relevant experience in the range of 10 to 15 years.

Desired Qualifications & skills
- Post-graduate/Tertiary qualification in the fields of Construction / Engineering preferred.
- Membership of professional organisations and appropriate certifications preferred.
