Responsibilities
- Contribute to the MLOps culture and practices enabling the team to create solutions with less friction and solid security, and reliability.
- Add expertise on ML Pipelines (Model serving, Model performance monitoring)
- Contribute to design, refinements, optimizations, and scalability for systems operating machine learning pipelines at web scales
- Build and lead building automated deployments and operations of AI based solutions
- Work directly with team to enable successful deployments and maintainable production system
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide monthly training sessions to the team on current trends in the field and help the team members ramp up their technical skills
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including other leader
- Be proactive and vocal in order to raise blockers and challenges that affects the development of the team and solve them
- Propose new ideas and innovative solutions
- Identify and fix gaps in the existing codebase and technologies used
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Statistics, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.
- Experience with MLOps lifecycle management
- Docker and containerization
- Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
- Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
- Python production level coding, including best practices
- AWS including, but not limited to, S3, EKS, EMR, Athena, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, MSK, Sagemaker, SQS and SNS
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
- Good communication and presentation skills to explain technical solutions to either technical peers or non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve repeatable high quality outcomes as a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a STEM field such as Statistics, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.
- Apache spark
- Airflow
- Certification in AWS
- Understanding of test-driven development. Willingness to improve test coverage of existing codebase.
Overlap Hours
- 5+ hours with EST (9 am - 2 pm)
