Principal Designers - Cicil & Structural with
12 to 18 years of relevant industry experience to join our team based in Chennai and support our site in
Assam.
About The Job
- Preparation of Structural steel and concrete works ( Technological structures, Pipe Racks, Concrete structures, Foundations, Equipment foundations ) in ACAD/Microstation
- 3D Modelling of all Civil & Structural Facilities (Tekla/S3D)
- Extraction of General arrangement 2D Drawings from 3D model including clash checking
- Extraction of Detailed 2D drawings from 3D model and Preparation of construction drawings including checking errors/mismatches
- Preparation of Under Ground (UG) Networks drawings (Foundation, Piping, Drains, Trenches, etc)
- 3D Modelling of all Underground Facilities (S3D)
- Extraction of 2D Installation Drawings from 3D model including clash checking
- Extraction of UG Piping ISOs
- Incorporation of inter discipline comments and client comments
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines for clash resolution/technical issues
- Participation in Model Reviews
- Material take-offs
- Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.
- Managing EPCM/PMC project
- Review and approval of structural steel fabrication drawings
- Managing/Review of EPC contractor's Civil & Structural steel Drawings.
- Managing Site activities/Queries related to Civil & Structural works.
Main Tasks:
- To ensure clash free models.
- Issue of Civil, Structural and UG Works Installation drawings with required quality as per project schedules.
- Follow up with other disciplines for comment resolution.

About You
- Willingness to relocate to Assam site for design and site support.
- Diploma in Engineering with at least 12 to 18 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries is preferred
- Experience in 2D drawings ( Autocad / Microstation etc.,)
- Experience in 3D Modeling (PDMS, S3D E3D, TEKLA etc., )
- Experience in extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models.
- Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes
- Experience in Building drawings, Concrete Detailing, Architectural drawings preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Field engineering / Site coordination
