Job Overview
As a Principal Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions at the edge of the network. You will be responsible for creating efficient and high-performance edge computing Machine Learning models that enable intelligent decision-making in real-time, often with limited computational resources. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of the latest AI and edge computing technologies, and driving innovation in the field. IC Role.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI models at the edge.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Experience with edge computing platforms, frameworks, and hardware (e.g., TensorFlow, and ONXX framework , NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, Intel Movidius).
- 10 + years of Experience with optimization techniques for edge deployment, including quantization, pruning, and compression.
- 9 + years of Experience in Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK, Qualcomm Snapdragon Dev-Boards, TensorFlow, and ONXX framework.
- 9+ years of Experience with hardware acceleration technologies (e.g., GPUs, TPUs) for AI workloads.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics.
- Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) protocols and architectures.
- Familiarity with edge security and privacy considerations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
