Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Quality Assurance- Functional testing, Automation, and API testing.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading complex projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional testing, automation, and API testing.

Responsibilities
. Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of functional testing to ensure software quality and adherence to requirements.
. Design and implement automated UI tests using Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
. Leverage Playwright for modern web testing practices, providing insights into its integration with existing frameworks.
. Develop and maintain API automation tests using Karate, ensuring robust API functionality and performance.
. Utilize SQL to perform data validation, verification, and query optimization as part of the testing process.
. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to define testing strategies and ensure alignment with project goals.
. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
. Prepare and present test results, defect reports, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

. Bachelor%27s / Graduation / Equivalent with equivalent experience.
. Valid years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional and automated testing.
. Proven expertise in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
. Strong knowledge of UI automation tools, particularly Selenium familiarity with Playwright is a plus.
. Proficient in API automation using Karate understanding RESTful services and best practices.
. Solid understanding of SQL for data verification and analysis.
. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
. Previous experience in a leadership or consultancy role is highly desirable.
