Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Power BI Admin

In this role, as a trusted advisor to the business, establish partnerships, assess business needs, provide critical interpretation of data, form hypotheses and synthesize conclusions into recommendations, turning data analysis into insights

Responsibilities:

. Provide leadership with Power BI administration and the dashboard/reports development life cycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the Resiliency Solutions portfolio.
. Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team%27s objectives.
. Configure environment settings, including security, data policies, and connection references.
. Control Power BI tenant features, activity logs, monitoring usage, assigning licenses, and audit logging.
. Conduct capacity planning of shared infrastructure and work with infrastructure teams to execute upgrades, monitor server performance, and usage.
. Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions.
. Manage deployments and set guidelines for the team using Power BI.
. Manage user access and permissions to Power Platform applications and resources.
. Configure and enforce security policies to protect data and ensure compliance.
. Maintain the Power Platform environment%27s governance policies, best practices, and security standards.
. Monitor and manage Power Platform licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
. Monitor and optimize Power BI performance.
. Configure and manage gateways for on-premise data sources.
. Understand usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and track progress.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications:

. Bachelor%27s/Graduation/Equivalent: BE/B- Tech, MCA, MBA
. Excellent Communication skill and effectively interact with business user
. Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams
. Ability to learn and respond quickly to the fast-changing business environment
. Ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills
. Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
Preferred qualifications:
. Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.
. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude.
. Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement
. Self-motivated and eager to learn
. A team player and able to lead and initiate
