Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Office 365 & collaboration SME
Responsibilities
. Managing Office 365 & collaboration Infrastructure (Skype/Team, OneDrive, SharePoint) end to end.
. Managing O365 licenses, costs with regular reporting.
. Ensuring safety & security of the data & O365 infrastructure.
. Supporting the escalated requests, major incident management, RCA & RCCA.
. Identifying & implementing continuous improvement & automation opportunities.
. Mentor other resources & analyzing the incident trends and coming up with solutions.
. Maintaining design & configuration documentation up to date.
. Maintain high end user experience.
. Configure and manage security and compliance settings within the M365 environment, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.
. Optimize M365 services to improve performance, user experience, and cost-efficiency.
. Provide expert-level support for M365-related issues, working closely with IT support teams to resolve complex problems.
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 applications, integrations, and connectivity.
. Develop and maintain documentation for M365 configurations, processes, and best practices.
. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user adoption and maximize the benefits of M365 tools.
. Create user guides, FAQs, and other resources to assist users in navigating M365 applications effectively.
. Monitor user feedback and usage patterns to identify areas for improvement and drive adoption.
. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate M365 services with other business applications and workflows.
. Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce M365 security policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and conditional access.
. Stay current with the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices.
. Identify opportunities to leverage new M365 capabilities to enhance productivity and collaboration.
. Lead initiatives to optimize M365 licensing, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
. Bachelor&rsquos or Master&rsquos degree, O365 & ITIL certifications.
. Proven experience as a Office 365 & Collaboration SME or similar role.
. Proven experience in designing and implementing M365 solutions in medium to large-scale environments.
. Extensive experience with M365 security and compliance features, including data governance, eDiscovery, and auditing.
. Direct Experience migrating email from Exchange on-premise/hosted to Exchange online through various migration methods (Cutover, Staged, Hybrid)
. Implementation of advanced functions of Office 365 Security and Compliance center - AIP, ATP, Mail flow rules management, Managing DNS records, Exchange online protection, SPAM & security controls.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Strong working experience on migrations and hybrid Exchange infrastructure.
. Strong troubleshooting skills
. Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Server, and Active Directory
. Practical knowledge of Windows Server, Azure and Office 365 solutions.
. Direct experience with on-premise Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Hybrid deployments
. Experience with PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell ISE
. Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situations
. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
. Open to cross-skill to other technologies per the business requirement.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP) are a plus.
