This role involves technical leadership in customer projects and team leadership within the ARIS practice
The candidate will interact with all levels of Software AG and the customer organization, including executive stakeholders (C-level), domain stakeholders (business/system analysts), and technical personnel
The ideal candidate will be able to present potential Professional Services customers with a vision and roadmap for starting their Business Process Management (BPM) journey or transitioning from an existing BPM system
The role also includes implementing this roadmap using the ARIS solution, establishing a strong ARIS foundation, coaching customers on best practices, and driving long-term adoption and customer satisfaction in the market through quality delivery of ARIS solution outcomes
Software AG is seeking a results-driven ARIS Principal Consultant to design and architect quality solutions in a customer-centric manner by leveraging Software AG Professional Services methodologies and best practices
Essential Functions
Working in close collaboration with the Professional Services Project/Delivery Manager, License Sales and Professional Services Sales, an ARIS Principal Consultant will:
Technically Lead ARIS solution delivery across the following ARIS core capabilities and various Software AG Professional Services ARIS offerings
Business Design & Strategy
Rollout & Change Management
Process Mining & Analysis
Risk & Compliance Management
Enterprise Architecture Management
Business Automation
Support Professional Services Sales in scoping services for delivery of ARIS Solutions
Support Presales in reviewing customer use case definition across ARIS core capabilities
Gather and analyze technical and functional requirements
Design and Architect ARIS solutions to meet customer requirements
Support customers in the organizational and process-related implementation of the ARIS solution
Requirements Skills
Advanced-Expert Proficiency in all the following ARIS capabilities, unless otherwise noted as a plus
Installation, Configuration, Administration and Upgrade of above ARIS capabilities in both MSSQL and Oracle relational database management systems
Proficiency in SQL language, JavaScript, XML and HTML
Expertise with Authentication Protocols such as LDAP, SSO (Kerberos, SAML2), and SSL
Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful Webservices, Data Integration Capabilities
Education and Experience
BA/BS in Managing Information Systems Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering; master s or PhD and/or alternative business focus (i.e., finance) are a plus.
8-12 years work experience with Business Process Transformation
Experience working with customers in banking and securities, energy, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, retail, utilities, or other vertical markets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively convey roadmap, concepts, best practices, solution-features and benefits of the proposed ARIS solution to C-Level client executives and stakeholders, as well as deep-dive into technical and architectural aspects with client IT members.
Team-oriented approach to project work and problem-solving: willingness to work closely with others and to mentor junior colleagues.
Highly customer and service oriented.
The ARIS Principal Consultant may work remotely and/or onsite at the customer location, depending upon the specific customer, customer project and project phase. He or she may be required to travel up to 50% of the time.
