Role:
This is a full-time on-site Principal Cloud Developer role located at our Infinera Bengaluru (India) office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative cloud applications using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
- Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills as needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of taking complete ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Software Development Skills: experience in software development and programming languages such as Python , Java scripts , shell scripting. Must have worked in Agile development environment.
- Cloud Computing Skills: experience in cloud architecture and deployment, including Google Cloud Platform , Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
- Linux Skills: Hands on experience in Linux
- Database Skills: experience in designing, implementing, and administering databases such as MySQL or MongoDB. Experience in cloud databases technologies such as BigQuery / RedShift is a plus.
- Experience in DevOps methodologies and associated tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, etc.
- CI/CD : Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work shoulder-to-shoulder.
- Experience in telecommunications or optical networking industry is a Huge plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
