Capitar Ventures is a SEBI registered AIF II Fundproviding Venture Debt Fund to the Indian Start-Up Ecosystem. We have two obsessions: how do we keep our debt safe and how do we add value over and beyond. We ensure these by independently evaluating & underwriting credit, by getting deep into the business thereby understanding the building blocks ground-up and by designing customised solutions following a Founder First approach.

Role Description

- Identifying new investment opportunities

- Evaluating potential investments based on financial & business analysis and risk assessment

- Conducting due diligence on potential portfolio companies and negotiating & structuring deals

- Monitoring & managing portfolio companies and the risks & opportunities emanating thereof

- Working closely with senior members of the team

Required Skills

- Excellent modelling skills (build ground-up models on excel)

- Excellent writing skills to present the investment thesis in a thorough but crisp & concise note

- Good understanding of underwriting, especially for high growth businesses

- Ability to independently conclude deals, end-to-end as well as cohesively work as part of a team

- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at the same time

Preferred Profile

• CA / MBA from premiere school
• Experience in venture debt, private equity, investment banking or credit underwriting
• Work Ex of 5-8 years in a relevant role
