The Associate Principal Product Analyst will be a hands-on role in a high functioning, dynamic team critical to the success of our Treasury product.
Under guidance (s)he will be responsible for translating product strategy and market requirements into world-class products working with customers, product development, internal clients, and project teams at Temenos.
He/She will be involved in the treasury product team and interact with various stakeholders such as Development, Quality Assurance, Support teams, Management, and partners to bring software to market and facilitate increased adoption and support.
- Coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects and serve as primary product expert and evangelist.
- Do product solution with minimal guidance, co-ordinate development and release process for assigned products
- Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the development team.
- Work with Quality Assurance to ensure thorough testing of new software before release.
- Ensure metrics, deadlines, and record-keeping obligations established by management are met.
- Work independently and in a collaborative nature.
- Support marketing and sales through leading the development and maintenance of various product marketing collateral including customer presentations, sales training guides, product brochures, FAQs, user guides, online marketing content and demos.
- Perform product demonstrations at trade shows, seminars, and other events.
- Contribute to the Product Roadmap by keeping track of market trends, regulatory environment, competitive landscape, etc.
- Mentor junior business analysts in the team.
SKILLS - 7-10 Years of experience in a top tier software company/bank in a progressive role in product management/business Analysis with a focus on Treasury and Capital Market Systems (covering full trade-cycle workflow management) is essential.
- Strong practical, working knowledge of Agile SDLC is essential.
- Strong documentation and analysis skills are essential.
- Specific knowledge of Treasury operations, process, and solutions strongly preferred.
- Sound understanding of at least one of the asset classes (FX, Derivatives, Fixed Income & MM) is a must.
- Experience in a Banks Treasury with a good understanding of front, middle and back-office operations will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of treasury and capital market systems such as Murex, Kondor+, Calypso, Bloomberg, Eikon will be an added advantage.
- Experience in working across teams in Software Development, Quality Assurance, Consulting and Product Support.
- Experience in implementation of enterprise business applications desirable.
- Ability to communicate and interact with internal stakeholders and clients and provide precise and detailed reports and information.
