The person should be able to figure out bottle necks in the scalable architecture and devise a path to fix them. Build a resilient, monitored and optimized system. RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with immensely talented teams in different geographic regions of the world.
Design and maintain backend architecture and to constantly improve it to scale.
Design, document engineering guidelines.
Be hands-on to lead (including code) critical projects that directly impact business.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure a high level of code quality through code reviews and testing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in highly optimized, scalable and resilient product architecture design.
- Proficiency with technologies like K8s, docker and spark.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles.
- Experience with implementations of Infrastructure as Code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, collaboration skills, ownership mentality and enthusiasm.

COMPENSATION
The base salary range is what we expect to pay a substantially qualified candidate, with final offer being based on the candidate s relevant experience and skills, as well as location and other factors. Total compensation for the role will include base salary, as well as a bonus or commission target and an equity grant applicable to the level of the role.
