ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Primary Coordinator is to ensure that high standards of excellence are maintained in the school through high quality of learning for each student. He/ She will be responsible for carrying out the plan laid out by the Principal for the academic year in word and spirit.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the Primary Coordinator will be:
- Ensuring timely delivery of curriculum with adherence to best quality standards for Grades 1 to
Structuring a proper balance of academic and non-academic activities for the students- Supporting the smooth transition of students from preschool to Grade 1
Ensuring that the safety policy and procedures at the school are implemented fully so as to ensure the safety of each and every child and adult entrusted to us physically, emotionally, psychologically
- Conducting, managing, supervising various events like parent orientation, PTM, sports day, coffee meets, student events & competitions.
Updating student and school records, analyzing Argus usage and student performance data, ensuring remedial teaching and addressing academic concerns raised by students, staff, and parents of the section- Assisting in the process of recruitment, training, and onboarding of all new staff and ensuring professional development and training of all teachers of the section.
Observing lessons of teachers at least twice in a year, maintaining records and arranging for training programs as required
- Providing regular feedback to the teaching staff regarding correction and curriculum-related issues.

JOBDESCRIPTION
- Developing and mentoring the teachers / Lead Teachers through the feedback mechanism and ensuring their retention and engagement
Developing the potential successors by identifying, developing and retaining high performing Teachers/Lead Teachers Managing retention and engagement of all staff - Grades 1 to 5.- Creating a cooperative school-parent relationship and facilitating the participation of parents related to the education of their children.
Effectively handle parent concerns as and when escalated by the concerned stakeholders
- Maintain effective communication with students, staff and parents.
Ensuring that the policy of inclusion is adopted appropriately and COWB functions effectively

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:- A B.Ed degree with Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
Good analytical skills and ability to make recommendations based on information gathered and sound judgment.
- Ability to drive consensus decision-making, especially in conflicting situations
Extrovert, collaborator, result-oriented, mentor and leader focused on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth and dynamic school environment.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, understand requirements and implement them at the school level
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
The ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas.- Proficiency in the usage of relevant IT tools/platforms Argus, Web genie, ZOHO, Scholaro
Proficiency in the usage of the Linkedin platform for driving recruitments
- Experience in teaching specific grades is a must.
Knowledge of administration and management.- A high degree of professionalism.
