The Pricing Manager/Leader will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, and implementing pricing policies to optimize revenue and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments. This role will report into a Director of Sales Operations and will partner closely with Product, business units and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies for all products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market conditions.
- Price Recommendations: Provide data-driven pricing recommendations to senior management based on market analysis, sales data, and competitive intelligence.
- Policy Development: Create and maintain pricing policies, guidelines, and frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Approval Process: Manage the pricing approval process, including setting up price points, discount structures, and promotional pricing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies support business goals and customer needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the impact of pricing decisions on sales and profitability, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing performance, strategies, and market trends for senior leadership.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to understand pricing trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing management, pricing analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
