Responsibilities
To provide financial costing, pricing and deal shaping support
Re-pricing of renewals and catalogue refreshes.
Support negotiations of pricing and commercials terms.
Play an important role in creating value for Lenovo while managing profitability and cost optimization.
Maintenance of historical pricing data, review and implement pricing policies.
Preparing and presenting pricing analysis to senior executives, Marketing, and Sales teams to influence outcomes of deal shaping and assist with decision making.
Assist deal teams in understanding and highlighting risks and providing mitigation. Analyze financial impact accordingly.
Develop close ties with the Global Pursuit teams to support complex pricing scenarios.
Facilitate governance and deal reviews.
Partnering with SSG Deal Desk team Solution Architects to provide DWS Price Benchmarking for DaaS/DWS bids during Deal Desk process.
Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with business priorities and market trends
Assessing Cost, Price, Market data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
Knowledge of DaaS, Digital Workplace pricing constructs is preferred
Be a subject matter expert for all things related to DWS Pricing
KPIs
Ensure informed decision making between sales, delivery, and Commercial interests to deliver optimal value for both external client and Lenovo.
Provide competitive benchmarks for DWS opportunities in a timely manner
Sales and SA stakeholder management
Deep understanding of latest IT Services market trends across geos
Working and sharing best practices within Central Price Benchmarking Intelligence team
Must Have
A bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, finance, economics, or in a related field
In-depth knowledge of competitive pricing mechanisms and constructs in IT Services
industry
Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially MS Excel) and associated analysis
Able to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making
Ability to work in a team-environment and good organizing skills are a must
Desired
A master's degree in business administration will be preferred
Certifications in Pricing and active membership in related associations would be an added advantage.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5yrs experience as a Pricing Professional/Consultant in IT Services industry
