Job Description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

As part of a country or region Services organization, handles one services project or several unrelated services projects driving customers value realization. The projects handled are of medium to high size and complexity and could be part of a program. Executes the project(s) within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as key point of contact for Sales, Presales, Engagement Managers, Services Management and the customer for the project.

  • The role requires you to have an expertise in the Siemens LCS/PLM software capabilities for various industries, covering a wide area of solutions from our Xcelerator portfolio.
  • Presales are significant to our sales process - they are the people that bring our products to life. They spend time understanding what customers need and match their requirements with our products and offerings. Instrumental to a successful sales process, they show the powerful capabilities and opportunities with our industry leading technology.

Area of responsibility

  • Present and demonstrate our LCS solutions -Teamcenter in a sales pursuit, in the context of a particular customer's business need, with an emphasis on business value!
  • Able to demonstrate proof of concept in Teamcenter based on the configuration of the use cases of the customer.
  • Work with customers in a consultative mode to define solution approach and assist implementation team in defining the scope of work.
  • Have a clear and up-to-date understanding of Teamcenter and related Application capabilities and limitations and be able to clearly communicate to Product Development any gaps that have an impact on customer success and work efficiently to achieve capability improvements.

Your qualifications

  • Strong experience in Presales or Service/consulting roles for Teamcenter, you feel comfortable in all levels in a company you talk to, project and department leaders.
  • In depth Knowledge of Teamcenter core module, BOM Management, Change Management, Active Workspace, Visualization.
  • Hands on Teamcenter Installation and Configuration.
  • Prefer experience from the automotive, aerospace, or mechanical industries.
  • Self-supporting, able to work without supervision, able to travel away for short periods.
  • High level of initiative, teamwork, flexibility, willing to learn.
  • Prefer educated to degree level in engineering or related technical subject area.
  • English language spoken and written to a high level of proficiency.
