Job Title: Presales Solution Architect (Engineering)

Location: Hyderabad / Pune

Notice Period: Immediate - 1 month

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Solution Architect to join our presales team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technology background, preferably 10 to 15 years with experience in one of the cloud and Microsoft or Java tech stack. Of which a minimum of 5 + years in dedicated presales role. This role involves collaborating with technical architects across various domains (Digital, Data, Infrastructure) to conceptualize, design, and articulate technical solutions, integrating them into cohesive solution responses.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, customers, and practice teams.
2. Lead technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, suggesting technology options, propose solutions while clearly articulating limitations and advantages.
3. Conduct technical solution discussions with customers and architects across various domains.
4. Create thought leadership through presentations at conferences, summits, and events; writing; user group presentations; and community involvement.
5. Collaborate with technical architects across Digital, Data, Infrastructure, and other domains to understand project requirements and constraints.
6. Develop comprehensive engineering proposals by synthesizing inputs from various technical teams.
7. Architect end-to-end solutions that meet project objectives, align with business goals, and adhere to industry best practices.
8. Conduct technical reviews and evaluations to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective.
9. Ensure a smooth handover from presales to delivery teams.
10. Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards.
11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on solution architecture principles, patterns, and methodologies.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to ensure alignment and coherence in proposed solutions.
13. Develop reusable components and maintain documentation, including solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
14. Present proposals and technical solutions to stakeholders, including clients, executives, and project teams, in a clear and compelling manner.
15. Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on engineering proposals and solution design for at least 7 years.
• Strong expertise in Digital, Data, and Infrastructure architectures, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and data integration techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in architecting solutions using industry-standard frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Agile).
• Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
