Presales Solution Architect - CyberSecurity

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Presales Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, focusing on networking and cybersecurity solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, cybersecurity principles, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Technical Expertise:
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for sales teams, providing pre-sales support and expertise on networking and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals to potential clients.
  • Conduct product and solution briefings to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.


  • Solution Design:
  • Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Design and recommend tailored solutions that address client challenges and align with their goals.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams and implementation plans.


  • Proof of Concept (PoC):
  • Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, ensuring successful evaluation and validation of proposed solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during PoC phases to demonstrate solution effectiveness.


  • Customer Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams, decision-makers, and partners.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide technical insights, and offer guidance on best practices for implementation.


  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to stay current with product developments and industry trends.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer interactions and market demands.


  • Training and Enablement:
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and partners to enhance their understanding of our solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape in networking and cybersecurity.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.


  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in a presales or technical sales role within the networking and cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, cybersecurity threats, and solution design


  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Hands-on experience with networking and cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, etc.).


  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
