Job Summary:
The Presales Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, focusing on networking and cybersecurity solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, cybersecurity principles, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for sales teams, providing pre-sales support and expertise on networking and cybersecurity solutions.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals to potential clients.
- Conduct product and solution briefings to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Solution Design:
- Collaborate with sales teams and customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Design and recommend tailored solutions that address client challenges and align with their goals.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
- Proof of Concept (PoC):
- Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, ensuring successful evaluation and validation of proposed solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during PoC phases to demonstrate solution effectiveness.
- Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT teams, decision-makers, and partners.
- Address customer inquiries, provide technical insights, and offer guidance on best practices for implementation.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with product management, engineering, and support teams to stay current with product developments and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer interactions and market demands.
- Training and Enablement:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and partners to enhance their understanding of our solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape in networking and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a presales or technical sales role within the networking and cybersecurity domain.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, cybersecurity threats, and solution design
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Hands-on experience with networking and cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, etc.).
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
