Position Overview
This position will work with the Presales Services team. Presales Services partners with the customers leadership and technical teams to conceptualize and scope use cases, map out phases and architecture, and begin building those applications toward production.
As an Implementation Consultant supporting Presales Services, you will work with Presales Services team members to solve the business problems surfaced with the customer. In many cases these applications need deeper development work, and youll be assigned to and work on those requests.
In addition to a strong technical background, you have a consultative mindset, always showing high levels of curiosity about objectives, and leveraging all information sources needed to get to a working solution. Although you are detail-oriented, you also maintain a broader perspective of the longer-term goals in partnership with Presales Services, on what the prospect/customer is trying to achieve with the application.
You may propose several design options on more complex requests before fully committing to one approach. On more straightforward requests, you would simply begin the work and provide timely updates (at least weekly).
Responsibilities
- Support technical implementation and development requests from CAG
- Submit timely and articulate questions (additional discovery) on requests where
you need clarification
- Provide rough estimates on the effort required on certain requests (not all)
- Provide weekly updates to development requests that you are assigned to
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience delivering technical solutions in software implementation,
services, engineering, or support
- Experience building solutions in Quickbase and Pipelines, or other low code
platforms, or a demonstrable capability
- Experience working with and connecting to ERP solutions, relational databases,
SaaS integration services, and integrating legacy software systems
- Strong understanding of web service technology and protocols (REST, SOAP,
XML, JSON) as well as Javascript, Python, and other general purpose scripting
languages
