Presales Solution Architect

Summary:

The Presales Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering complex server and storage solutions to customers. This includes working with customers to understand their requirements, designing and presenting solutions, and managing the implementation process. The Presales Solution Architect also plays a key role in developing and maintaining technical relationships with customers and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with customers to understand their requirements and design complex server and storage solutions.

Present technical solutions to customers and partners.

Manage the implementation process for complex server and storage solutions.

Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers and OEMs.

Stay up-to-date on the latest server and storage technologies and trends.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Developing and maintaining technical documentation for server and storage solutions.

Creating and delivering training on server and storage technologies

Contributing to the development of new server and storage products and solutions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Certifications Required:

Vendor-specific certifications, such as Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers and VMware vSphere, HPE ProLiant Servers and VMware vSphere, IBM Power Systems and AIX, NetApp ONTAP, or Pure Storage Flash Array.

Cloud computing certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.

General product management certifications, such as Product Management Professional (PEMP) or Certified Product Manager (CPM).
