Job Summary
People Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Proposal Writer / Bid Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing high-quality proposals, experience in end-to-end bid process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of proposals. This role is essential for driving US Government RFP's and supporting the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Writing: Develop clear, concise, and tailored responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents.
- Bid Management: Manage the full bid lifecycle, from bid qualification to proposal submission, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client requirements
- Indian Government bids Experience in developing responses for Indian Government bids & qualification documents, attend online pre-bid meetings and proposal submissions. Must have experience in tracking all bid essentials to closure. Ensure all proposals meet legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, pre-sales, technical, and subject matter experts to gather inputs for proposals and ensure alignment with the client's needs.
- Content Development: Maintain and update a repository of proposal templates, case studies, and past submissions to streamline future proposals.
- Proposal Review: Conduct reviews of proposals to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Reporting: Track and report on bid progress, outcomes, and post-bid evaluations to improve future submissions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing and bid management, preferably in the IT services or consulting sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with bid portals and online submission platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize technical information into client-facing documents.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end bid process, including compliance with RFP requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the IT or technology industry.
- Knowledge of Indian Government or Public Sector bidding processes is mandatory
