Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Manager with a strong background in Sales Engineering and extensive experience within the IT industry. This is a individual Contributor role where you will be required to leverage your technical knowledge and leadership skills to grow our pre-sales efforts and play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Executives to identify customer needs, understand challenges, and develop compelling technical solutions.
  • Craft and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our offerings.
  • Manage the pre-sales cycle, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and competitor landscape, providing insights to shape our sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Analyse sales pipeline data and identify areas for improvement in pre-sales processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BTech/ BE, Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
  • 10+ years of experience in a functional pre-sales role, preferably within the IT industry.
  • SAP & Oracle JD Edwards knowhow would be an added advantage
  • Experience of working with Global customers in Manufacturing, CPG & Pharma.
  • Experience working with Global customers in US & Europe will be useful.
  • Strong understanding about master data with the focus around equipment, finance and customer
  • In-depth knowledge of IT solutions, platforms, and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to translate technical details into business value.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
