Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Presales Manager to join our team in Raipur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid management and extensive experience working with Indian government projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex proposals and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Management:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for government projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling and compliant bid proposals.
- Ensure all bids are submitted on time and meet the requirements of the tender.
Government Projects:
- Leverage experience with Indian government procedures and regulations to navigate project requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Monitor government tender portals and identify opportunities for business growth.
Presales Activities:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Coordinate with various departments including sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure cohesive bid strategies.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of bid activities and project progress.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on bid status and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales, with a focus on bid management and government projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing bids and securing government contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian government procurement processes and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
