Job Description

Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer

Required Experience: 2+ years

Location: Pune (Hybrid) Position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Pre-Sales Engineer with over 2 year of experience to join our growing team. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and support during the sales process. You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, articulating the value of our solutions, and helping close deals through your technical knowledge and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Act as the technical point of contact for the sales team and potential clients, providing deep knowledge of products and solutions.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Product Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value of our solutions to potential clients.
  • RFP/RFI Response: Assist in responding to technical sections of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Technical Presentations: Provide technical presentations to prospects, explaining how our solutions can solve their business challenges.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
  • Documentation: Assist in creating technical documentation, whitepapers, and other sales support materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Background: At least 2 year of experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or related role. Experience in IT, software solutions, cloud services, etc. is preferred.
  • Solution Selling: Familiarity with solution-based selling techniques, with the ability to understand customer pain points and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Presentation Skills: Proven experience in delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of competitive products and technologies.
  • Experience with project management tools or processes.
