Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Presales Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the IT industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. This role involves conducting comprehensive market and customer research, assisting the sales team in go-to-market strategies, and creating high-quality sales and marketing collateral. The Presales Consultant will play a pivotal role in solution design, proposal preparation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth research on various industries, emerging solutions, and market needs.
- Analyze customer trends and competitor strategies to inform sales and marketing initiatives.
Customer Research:
- Perform detailed research on potential and existing customers to identify needs and tailor solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and requirements.
Competitor Research:
- Track competitor activities and product offerings.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team based on competitor analysis.
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Create and maintain sales documents and collateral, including presentations, one-pagers, case studies, and white papers.
- Prepare customer-specific presentations and proposals for the sales team.
- Act as a point of contact for the sales team, providing training and answering questions related to offerings.
Collaboration with Marketing Team:
- Work closely with the marketing team to design, refine, and publish all sales-related documents and collateral.
- Collaborate on the creation of videos, blogs, articles, webinars, and other marketing content.
- Assist in designing and executing marketing campaigns.
Collaboration with Delivery Team:
- Partner with the delivery team to develop white papers, case studies, articles, and blogs.
- Coordinate on creating webinars and videos that showcase our solutions and expertise.
Presales Activities:
- Participate in discovery calls to understand client requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Present solutions, capability decks, and conduct Q&A sessions with potential clients.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and create detailed proposals in collaboration with the delivery team, business analysts, and sales team.
Solution Design:
- Ideate and design innovative solutions and offerings based on comprehensive market research.
- Ensure that solutions align with customer needs and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on presales, solution design, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of market research, customer analysis, and competitive intelligence.
- Proven ability to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in collaborating with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
