### Role Overview:
The Presales/Bid Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, working closely with sales, technical teams, and other stakeholders to create compelling proposals for IT solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT industry, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Bid Management:**
- Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle from initial opportunity identification to contract award.
- Develop and implement bid strategies that align with company goals and client needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely submission of proposals.
2. **Presales Activities:**
- Work closely with the sales team to identify client requirements and develop tailored IT solutions.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of company products and services to prospective clients.
- Provide technical and business expertise to support sales initiatives and client engagements.
3. **Proposal Development:**
- Create high-quality, persuasive proposals that address client needs and highlight the company's value proposition.
- Develop and maintain proposal templates and documentation for efficient and consistent responses.
- Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements and internal standards.
4. **Client Engagement:**
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients throughout the bid process.
- Conduct post-submission follow-ups and debriefs with clients to gather feedback and improve future proposals.
5. **Market and Competitor Analysis:**
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Use insights to refine bid strategies and enhance the competitiveness of proposals.
6. **Collaboration and Teamwork:**
- Work closely with sales, technical, legal, and finance teams to develop comprehensive proposals.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to brainstorm solutions and gather input from various stakeholders.
7. **Risk Management:**
- Identify potential risks in bid submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all bids are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
