Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed shop drawings: Develop comprehensive drawings outlining dimensions, reinforcement, connections, and other specifications for precast components.
BIM modeling:
Build 3D models of precast elements using BIM software to ensure accuracy and coordination with other project components.Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of precast elements into the overall design.Quantity takeoffs: Generate accurate quantity takeoffs for materials and reinforcement to support project estimation and procurement.
- Quality control: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and models to maintain project quality standards.
Software proficiency:
Master the use of CAD software (such as AutoCAD) and BIM software (like Revit, Tekla Structures) for efficient and precise detailing.
Required Skills:- Strong understanding of precast concrete construction and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD and BIM software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
