The Senior Solution Consultant is responsible for positioning Infor s solution in the high value sales opportunities that drive digital transformation at the prospects and customers.
You will acts as a presales consultant ensuring the Solution Consulting teams and Sales teams are well equipped and enabled on all aspects to position, demonstrate.
The Senior Solution Consultant will work closely with Infor s Account Executives, Sales Management, Value Engineering team, ICS Consultants, and Channel Partner teams on sales strategy, deal qualification, solution demonstration, solution design, and preparation of proposals and responses to customers.
The role is a challenging one, that requires a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, disciplined, ethical and results oriented. You must be able to work unsupervised and on your own initiative. You will grow current skill and experience, and bring a passion for results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct impactful discoveries; informed by your industry experience and research on the customer, executed with effective active listening and questioning.
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Demonstrate Infor solutions in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition.
- Work with sales team to determine potential solution fit.
- Create product solution presentations of Infor solutions that reinforce Infor s value proposition that drive business transformation with the prospective customer.
- , technology, and market trends.
- Confidently articulate, present and demonstrate the business value of Infor s application solutions for warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Work with Professional Services on deal progression, expectations, statement of works, and transition post-sale.
- Maintain industry, market, and product knowledge, as well as, stay abreast of competitor s products, technology and offerings. Further, maintain knowledge of appropriate technology evolution.
- Provide product training as required.
- Maintain a working, demonstration environment suitable for performing solution demonstrations.
- Follow presales rules of engagement and activity reporting as required.
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:
- Minimum 6 years experience with enterprise warehouse management systems.
- Experience selling Enterprise Software applications/solutions in multiple industries.
- Experience, good understanding and knowledge of warehousing operations/process, material handling systems and labour/task management
- As a Solution Consultant, good leadership and mentoring skills will be required to help contribute to account/opportunity strategies.
- Experience of the Infor technologies may be an advantage, although experience of similar ERP solutions will also be considered.
- Knowledge of positioning and selling Cloud-based solutions.
- Proven experience of solution consulting, although relevant product knowledge from an implementation or project related perspective will be considered.
