About Us:

Ortmor is a leading creative technology agency, specializing in delivering immersive and interactive experiences. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Presales Engineer to join our team and support the technical and financial aspects of our projects.

Job Summary:

The Presales Engineer will play a critical role in the technical sales process by understanding the clients needs, proposing suitable solutions, and creating accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in technology installations, be able to manage supplier relationships and have a keen understanding of the financial aspects of project estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.

- Conduct high-level technical assessments of potential installations, including understanding different components and how they integrate into larger systems.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to gather pricing and component specifications for various technology installations.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and vendor pricing, and add appropriate margins based on company guidelines.

- Develop and present proposals that include both technical and commercial elements.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies relevant to our offerings, ensuring that solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.

- Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from presales to execution.

Requirements:

- Proven experience of min 2yrs in a presales or technical estimation role, preferably in the technology or creative industries.

- Strong understanding of technology installations (e.g., LED screens, VR setups,AR setups hologram displays, projection mapping, immersive display etc.).

- Ability to break down complex installations into component parts and understand their cost structure.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple suppliers, manage negotiations, and get competitive pricing.

- Experience in creating detailed cost estimations and ensuring profitability.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and estimation tools.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.

- Experience in the creative technology industry is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month
