- 5-15 years of recent experience with ERP consulting engagements with large consulting firm or specialty practice related to the ERP technology advisory. This could include working for an outsourcing service provider, an ERP system integrator, Platform consultancy or ERP consultancy, with responsibilities that include technology consulting, account management, sales, and service delivery management
- Significant experience in the deal advisory space. Must have advised clients on ERP sourcing transactions or have led and such transformation deals at Service Providers
- An understanding of global corporate large deals practice - including drivers of win a deal, solution, cost drivers, ability to work with Service Providers to ensure effective cost solutions and agreed upon service level agreements.
- Advised clients in establishing their ERP sourcing strategy given their current state and future ambitions. Experience with one or more leading Cloud ERP platforms (especially S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or Oracle ERP) and can demonstrate a deep understanding of functionality, usability and underlying technology implications
- Knowledge of leading ERP software providers and their solution offerings, as well as System Integrators and their experience with each major platform
- HR/Finance/Supply Chain consulting or solution design experience
- Experience with several of the following key ERP service offerings:
- ERP Strategic Assessments
- ERP process/requirements definition
- ERP implementation methodology
- Software and System Integrator Evaluation
- ERP Software and SI Contracting Strategy and Negotiations
- ERP Deployment Project Management and Governance
- Understanding of best practices in implementing ERP solutions within functional, technical, data migration, testing, hyper care, and OCM
- Expert presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders..
Education
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field
- MBA/MS or other advanced degree(s) desirable
Travel - 30% - 40% required or as per project requirement.

- The Consultant / Senior Consultant participates as a key contributor or as a team member of large or mega-deal engagements in a given business function.
- The Consultant participates as part of an advisory team in the delivery of ISG methodology and tools in support of client sourcing initiatives.
- The Consultant assists and/or leads in the development of initial assessments, project plans, vendor research and selections, financial modeling, RFP creation, contract negotiations and post selection administrative actions.
