Job Description AWS Solutions Architect
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented AWS Solutions Architect to join our team and play a key role in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform to meet the unique requirements of our clients.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into robust AWS architectures and designs.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives, assess existing on-premises infrastructure, identify opportunities for optimization, and execute migration plans to AWS cloud services.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments, including IAM policies, network security, encryption, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
- Monitor the performance of AWS resources, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, empowering them to grow their skills and excel in their roles.
- Keep abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our client projects to ensure optimal solution design and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Cloud Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions on the AWS platform.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are highly desirable.
