We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Primary Coordinator to lead our pre-primary section and ensure the highest standards of early childhood education.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Primary Coordinator to oversee the pre-primary section of GoldenBee Global School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for fostering the development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Provide leadership and direction for the pre-primary staff, ensuring a high standard of education and care.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the pre-primary section, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for teachers and support staff.
  1. Curriculum Implementation:
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the pre-primary curriculum, aligning with the school's educational philosophy and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the curriculum to ensure it meets the developmental needs of young children.
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  1. Student Development:
  • Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
  • Implement strategies to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  1. Parent and Community Engagement:
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on student progress.
  • Organize parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and events to engage parents in the educational process.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the wider school community.
  1. Professional Development:
  • Identify professional development needs of pre-primary staff and organize relevant training and workshops.
  • Mentor and support teachers in their professional growth and development.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.
  1. Administration and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of student and staff performance, attendance, and other relevant data.
  • Prepare reports for school leadership and participate in school management meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and education principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and enriching learning environment for young children.
