Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Primary Coordinator to oversee the pre-primary section of GoldenBee Global School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for fostering the development of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide leadership and direction for the pre-primary staff, ensuring a high standard of education and care.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the pre-primary section, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for teachers and support staff.
- Curriculum Implementation:
- Ensure the effective implementation of the pre-primary curriculum, aligning with the school's educational philosophy and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the curriculum to ensure it meets the developmental needs of young children.
- Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Student Development:
- Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
- Implement strategies to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Parent and Community Engagement:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on student progress.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and events to engage parents in the educational process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the wider school community.
- Professional Development:
- Identify professional development needs of pre-primary staff and organize relevant training and workshops.
- Mentor and support teachers in their professional growth and development.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of student and staff performance, attendance, and other relevant data.
- Prepare reports for school leadership and participate in school management meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and education principles.
