Pre-MBA Analyst

About the role: We are hiring for the role of a Pre MBA Analyst. The candidate will support the investment team on various aspects of research & deal execution, including sector & company research, benchmarking, financial analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities:

Sector Research

• Conduct in-depth sector research, understand trends, and identify potential investment areas
• Perform competitive analysis of investment opportunities vis-a-vis the market
• Actively track companies within sectors of interest and regularly provide sector updates to the team

Deal Evaluation Support

• Support investment team in due diligence of potential investments through market research, financial analysis, and modelling

Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor financial performance of portfolio companies
• Analyse company data including MIS, financial statements, budgets

Required Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a top-tier college
• Some experience, preferably in an investment banking or a consulting role
• Open to freshers from top institutes
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Ability to deep dive into a topic, draw insights and present findings
• Curiosity and interest in staying up to date with industry developments
