  • Ensure complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems.
  • First point of contact with auditors on Financial Information. Provide clarifications / information to auditors on Financial Information.
  • Ensure operation of agreed financial controls including all relevant reconciliations in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Production of monthly financial accounts.
  • Produce information for tax, actuarial, statutory and regulatory reporting.
  • Keep up to date with reporting standards development, covering UKGAAP and IFRS.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet deliverable time lines
  • Ensure compliance with policies, processes and regulations
  • Ensure SLA measurements are reliable and appropriate
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
  • To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
