Powertrain Engineer

Job Description:

• Product knowledge on Engine Fuel Systems
• Experience in the design/development of filtration and low-pressure fuel system components
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Technical project management
• Knowledge of applicable simulation tools like Stress Analysis, Heat Transfer, Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) etc.
• Ability to apply GD&T based on the functional requirement
• Familiar with APQP/PPAP processes
• Proficient in 3D part & assembly modelling, including the Advanced Surfacing module in Creo.
• Experience with Engine Air system components particularly design of flexpipes (which connect turbocharger to aftertreatment module)
• Good knowledge in Power Train systems & casting design
• Engine components modelling and detailing (Crank shaft, Exhaust, Cylinder block etc)
• Familiar with Teamcenter or Equivalent PLM database
• Work on concept designs with minimum guidance and support
