We are seeking a skilled Power System and Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Power System and Design Engineer who possesses in-depth knowledge of power system protection, selection, application, and setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in power system design and protection, with hands-on experience in relevant industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analyse, and optimise power systems for various industrial applications.
- Develop and apply protection schemes for electrical systems to ensure reliability and safety.
- Select and configure appropriate protection devices and settings for different power system components.
- Conduct and interpret power system studies including short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, relay setting and coordination, transient stability analysis, and arc flash studies.
- Utilize ETAP software for power system modelling, simulation, and analysis.
- Provide technical support and guidance for power system design and protection projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and interpret system requirements, design specifications, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power systems and protection schemes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, B.E./ B.Tech/M.E. or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 30 years of relevant experience in power systems, power plants, petrochemicals, oil & gas plants, aluminium smelters, cement plants, or consulting services.
- Proficiency in ETAP software.
- Strong knowledge of power system protection, selection, application, and setting.
- Familiarity with power system studies such as short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, relay setting and coordination, transient stability analysis, and arc flash studies.
- Candidates with VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) or retired professionals who are physically and mentally fit to work are also encouraged to apply.
