Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power BI and Power Apps. As a Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions that leverage the Power Platform to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Power BI Dashboards and Reports:
- Design, develop, and deploy visually compelling and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
- Optimize and enhance existing Power BI solutions to improve performance and usability.
- Create and Customize Power Apps Solutions:
- Develop custom business applications using Power Apps, tailoring solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Integrate Power Apps with various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL Server, and other external systems.
- Ensure the scalability and maintainability of Power Apps solutions through best practices and thorough testing.
- Power Automate Integration:
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Automate flows and integrations.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption and usage of Power Platform solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates of the Power Platform.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in Power Platform development and governance.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and solutions through automation and innovation.
Skills And Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Proficiency in developing custom applications using Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate for creating and managing workflows.
- Data Management:
- Experience with SQL Server, SharePoint, and other common data sources used with the Power Platform.
- Ability to design and implement ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and business requirements.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-400).
- Experience with other Microsoft 365 services, such as Teams and Dynamics 365.
