Power Platform Developer Requirements

Essential Functions:

Create and maintain Power Automate workflows, Power Apps applications and collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, software architects and IT professionals to implement solutions.

Customize systems to meet the business needs of the company

Assist with deployment and provisioning activities

Support acceptance tests and production tests

Work within a team structure to deliver complex system designs

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

5+ years professional experience with Microsoft Power Platform products

Expert in Power Automate and Power Apps o SharePoint, Power BI, SOAP/REST APIs

Experience in Microsoft/Office 365 environment and architecture

Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends

Understanding of RPA, Bot creation and unattended workflows

Strong debugging skills

High attention to detail

Excellent group communication

Problem-solving skills

Able to work proficiently in a team environment

Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes

Preferred Experience:

Power Automate (or other RPA tools)

Power Apps

SharePoint

SOAP/REST API usage

Power BI

MSSQL

Microsoft Teams

Scrum and other Agile processes

Education: College or University degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Certifications (nice to have):

Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate

Skills in order of Priority are:

Power Automate - workflows, especially connecting to SharePoint, APIs and SQL DB

Power Apps - canvas apps

NET development - would be nice to have since the AppDev team has a lead on PowerAutomate workflows and a resource who can also do app dev work will be preferred.
