Job Title: Power Management Firmware Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 4-9 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement firmware solutions for power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define power management requirements and specifications.
- Develop algorithms for power state management, sleep modes, and dynamic voltage/frequency scaling.
- Optimize firmware for performance, efficiency, and responsiveness to power events.
- Conduct testing and validation of power management features, including power profiling and analysis.
- Debug and troubleshoot power-related issues in firmware and hardware interactions.
- Document firmware design, architecture, and development processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in power management technologies
Required Skills
- Knowledge of power management ICs (PMICs) and related protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI).
- Experience with energy profiling tools and power analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with battery management systems and charging protocols.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile.
