Mission Statement:
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role requires a strong background in power electronics engineering and a high level of expertise in developing solutions for power electronics products in both software and hardware. As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable grids. Your primary focus will be on understanding the software and hardware components of power electronics products such as dynamic reactive power compensators, active harmonic filters and battery Energy storage system. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for both software and hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous growth of our organization. Recommending and configuring power quality solutions with power electronics products.
Your Responsibilities:
Embedded software programmer with preferred experience in control relays, industrial/utility measuring devices, and metering devices.
PC / Windows based application programming experience. E.g., Applications that can communicate to field devices (TCP, WIFI, USB etc.) and present data via PC applications in a user-friendly GUI.
Responsible for review and familiarize with existing power electronics product controller firmware and software. Able to understand the existing program structures.
Programming of new functions and feature sets (embedded firmware, PC software and other GUIs) based on requirements provided by product team.
Programming support for detection and resolution of software bugs existing product software.
Ensure compatibility of any newly written software with existing product functionality. Employ rigorous testing procedures to validate as such.
Interact with Product managers and various internal stakeholders including R&D, Product Specialists.
Recommending and/or configuring power quality solutions with available PE products for solving customer PQ issues.

Your background:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics engineering, specialization in Power Electronics is preferred.
8 to 10 years of working experience as a Power Electronics Engineer, R&D Project Technical engineer or any similar position.
HTML/CSS/JS of web-based application development skills
DNP3 and/or other remote communication protocol knowledge. E.g., Modbus, IEC61850
Strong Analytical skills and attention to details.
Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in English both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
Thorough understanding of Low, Medium, and High voltage power electronics products, such as AHF, SVG, BESS and STATCOM.
Proven experience in C/C++ development environments.
