Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer is responsible for developing high-quality datasets and visually stunning reports and dashboards while working closely with the stakeholders, right from gathering and scoping the requirements to delivery and handoff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements.
• Design and Development of Power BI reports & dashboards.
• Monitoring, and Troubleshooting the Issues.
• Performance tuning and Optimization.
• Timely support to the business users.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in design and development of Power BI reports & dashboards.

Proficiency with DAX expressions and M language.

Ability to liaise with data engineers to align the physical model to reporting requirements Able to set data quality standards and deploy supporting processes.

Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles, MSFT documentation, whitepapers, and community publications.

Good hands-on exposure to report publishing and security management in Power BI.

A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.

A talented communicator with presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.

Nice to have experience in Power Apps, Power Automate.

Must have technical skills:

Power BI Desktop, Power BI Dataflows

Power BI Service administration

DAX, M, PowerShell

SQL Scripts: T-SQL and/or PL-SQL

RDBMS: SQL Server / Oracle

Data modelling using the Kimball methodology.
