About BI Competency:
Focuses on collecting, analyzing, and presenting data in a format that enables organizations to make informed business decisions. This involves extracting relevant data from disparate sources, transforming, and consolidating it into meaningful insights, and presenting these insights through reports and visualizations. The core of the work is around report design and development using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. Other important aspects include report performance and usability. In addition to report development, BI Reporting Consultants play an important role in training and upskilling client users to use BI tools to improve data literacy, user adoption and enable self-service BI scenarios.

Duties
- Acting as a technical lead on data visualization projects
- Designing and implementing complex solutions leveraging Microsoft Power BI
- Educating and leading on the projects regular and junior resources
- Remaining update-to-date on product improvements/releases and work closely with internal teams to stay current on product developments.
- Participating in the entire solution implementation process from taking pre-sales activities, analysis, collecting customer requirements to design and development of reports and dashboards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years in IT industry
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in creating reports and dashboards in the PowerBI tool
- Very Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query M, SQL languages
- Knowledge about SSAS, Azure Analysis Services and Power BI Premium Gen 2.
- Knowledge about data modelling, reports performance tuning, business requirements gathering and translation them to solution
- Hands on experiences with different connectivity modes (import, direct, live)
- Experiences with PBI workspaces maintenance and administration (Gateways, security, etc.)
- Experiences with direct query mode performanceoptimization on database, PBI and DAX side.
- Experience with CI/CD and version controlling.
- Excellent technical knowledge, problem-solving and critical thinking
- Ability to translate technical solution advantages into business value for the customers
- English language proficiency is a must, both verbal and written
- Experiences in delivering e2e solution starting from requirements gathering, understanding business needs, design, develop, testing and maintenance.
- Aware about newest features in Power BI
- Experiences in role of Tech Lead on projects (aligning e2e architecture with solution architects, building report creation and delivery strategy, work items split and control delivery quality and progress status)
- Strong leadership skills.
