CTI has been a leading AV provider for over 35 years. Since we began in 1988, our mission has been simple: to provide a fantastic customer experience.
At CTI, our biggest asset is our people, and we know that sometimes the most awesome employees don't fit the typical mold. If you are hardworking, friendly, and know the importance of fantastic customer service, you could be a good fit at CTI. We have developed a collaborative and lively working environment, where the best and the brightest show up to work each day ready to have fun, and employ their passion for and knowledge of technology into everything they do. This creative atmosphere helps us apply and share our skills with our clients, who seek quality, high-end AV and Conference Solutions.
So, what are we looking for
We are looking to add a Power BI Architect to our internal software development team for our Pune office whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission to provide a fantastic customer experience. Somebody who is passionate about technology and can work both on a team and independently. We will provide the necessary training, support, and work environment to help you succeed. We take pride in our employees, who are known in the industry as customer focused problem-solvers who can get the job done.
These responsibilities will give you an idea, but not a full picture of what you will do as a Power BI Architect, as we work to embrace and capitalize on our employee's strengths:
- Lead the design and architecture of Power BI solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and data architecture designs.
- Develop data models, data flows, and data governance strategies within Power BI to ensure consistency and accuracy of data.
- Establish best practices and standards for Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization techniques.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Power BI developers and analysts to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Evaluate new Power BI features, tools, and technologies to continuously improve and optimize existing solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to align data architecture with business objectives.
- Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps and leverage its capabilities for integrating applications and streamlining processes.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Business Central to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems.
- Have an understanding of accounting practices to facilitate the integration of financial data into Power BI reports and analytics.
We value our culture above all, and applicants who merely want to punch in their timecards everyday are not what we are looking for. If you have the following traits, you might be what CTI is looking for:
- You are willing to fearlessly embrace company culture.
- You can work independently with minimal guidance (but aren't afraid to ask the right questions when you need help!).
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and can be the face of our company to our clients.
Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Power BI solutions, including data modeling, complex DAX calculations, and dashboard design.
- Expertise in data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data integration methodologies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft Power BI certifications (such as MCSA: BI Reporting or MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
- Understanding of accounting practices, principles, and financial data integration into reporting systems is advantageous.
