We are looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team at Shework.in(Payroll Company) for one of our customer project(TCS) in Navi Mumbai location. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Database administration in PostgreSQL language.
Responsibilities
- Perform database maintenance tasks.
- Proactively monitor databases for availability and performance.
- Backup & Restore of database as and when required.
- Refresh and sync of data across environments as and when required.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL Configuration parameters.
- Working experience on PostgreSQL utilities like Pgbadger, Pgaudit,etc
Desired Competencies
- 3 to 6 Years of Experience
- Ability to install, configure and manage PostgreSQL instances, and databases.
- Should have good knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Should have knowledge on Replication, Backup and Recovery
- Should be able to write basic scripts using OS shell
- Should be able to understand and tune PostgreSQL queries for performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL/PLSQL/, RHEL Linux
