We are seeking an initiative-taking and proactive Project Manager to join our small Legal Operations team in an offshore remote location. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of legal projects, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and ensuring the successful implementation of legal technology platforms and best practices. The role will involve working very closely with the Head of Legal Operations, and the small legal operations team based in UK and Bangalore. In addition, they will also collaborate directly with other senior legal stakeholders across multiple geographies independently shaping and executing projects as they emerge.
This role is crucial in helping us maintain order and momentum in a fast-paced environment. In summary you must be well versed in making order out of chaos.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Effectively plan, execute, and close multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Global Collaboration: The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing efficient ways of working with senior resources located in the UK, US, and APAC regions. This includes regular communication, reporting on project status, and effectively managing time allocation across different time zones.
- Proactive Leadership: Demonstrate strong initiative in identifying and mitigating risks, anticipating challenges, and proposing solutions to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Organizational Ability: Prioritize and manage project tasks and resources efficiently, keeping a keen eye on project timelines and milestones.
- Technology Platform Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of technology platforms and solutions, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the Legal Operations team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with teams from various functions to gather requirements, facilitate project planning, and deliver results that align with organizational goals.
- Adherence to Best Practice: Apply project management best practices, such as Prince 2, Agile methodology, or other relevant frameworks, to enhance project execution and delivery.
- Confidence and Clear Communication: The candidate should bring a strong and confident personality to the role, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. They should be unafraid to voice their ideas, propose solutions, and take charge of challenging situations.
- Proactive: The expectation is that the Head of Legal Operations can hand down business challenges, issues and ideas that the project manager can triage, assess and discuss options and solutions and not wait on exact requirements or detailed instructions but proactively work with all relevant stakeholders to gather necessary knowledge/SME input and produce and manage multiple project plans to deliver solutions.
- The resource will report to Head of Legal Ops but will also be expected to act independently and be proactive in seeking clarity on project objectives, expectations and requirements and challenging back when these are not provided.
- Remote Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in successfully project managing multiple initiatives from a remote location is highly valued. The ability to maintain focus, productivity, and collaboration while working independently will be essential.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in project management skills and best practices (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, PMP) is preferred.
- Proven experience and capability as a Project Manager, with a record of successfully managing complex ill formed projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Solution orientated and super proactive.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project/MS Sharepoint, Kanban/MSFT Planner and Viso experience is preferable).
- Experience in project planning and the tacit skill of developing, maintaining, and communicating progress or lack. Candidates should be used to collaborating with stakeholders to detail all the why, what, when, how, who questions until plans are ready.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Any experience in delivering global solutions and working with multiple markets is preferred but not essential.
- Any experience delivering Enterprise technology / systems is preferred but not essential.
- Any experience working with legal and compliance and/or data privacy is preferred but not essential.
- Process orientated with a passion for efficiency and standardisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Prior experience in less structured industries and with a track record of delivering is advantageous.
