Job Title: PLM Lead
- Total Experience: 10+ years relevant experience in PLM Development
Location:
Chennai (On-site)Contract to Hire (6 months)
Notice Period: Immediate/ 15 days
- Roles and Responsibilities:
-> CAD data management using CAD tools (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo and etc) with Windchill workgroup manager (WGM).
-> Non-CAD data management using Desktop Integration to manage office documents.
-> Managing the product structure based on ESAB business requirements.
-> Change Management workflows with Promotion request, ECR, ECN, ECO.
-> Should be an administrator to set implementation plan, manage & route different ECR/ECN as per requirements.
-> Troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to Global users across ESAB on CAD-PLM data management issues.
-> Understand and resolve logs/errors arise from the event management console of workgroup manager.
-> CAD & non-CAD templates creation/updates & management at PLM product/site level.
-> Setup folders, pre-defined procedures to store various objects within Products/libraries.
-> Execute Data migration projects as per roadmap projects for different business unit needs.
-> Analyze new requests/enhancements from business users, co-ordinate with support partner to develop desired solution.
-> Access support portal, raise support tickets, follow up and deliver solutions to user issues.
-> Perform user validation in Dev. environment before deploying any new solutions/enhancements in Prod. environment.
-> Knowledge in Windchill server architecture (Different Servers, Various environments, CAD workers, Azure platforms).
-> Develop way of working procedures and deliver training to Global PLM users.
-> Manage user license matrix - Plan, procure and assign right licenses based on request.
-> Acting as QMS owner for PLM/Design deliverables.
-> BE/ME & 10+ years of experience in PLM system development, process enhancements and establish best practices.
-> Knowledge in New product development (NPD) process and deliverables release in Windchill.
-> Demonstrated work experience with Windchill PDMLink module - Establish CAD, Non-CAD, BOM, Change management.
-> Demonstrated work experience in supporting global Windchill users to resolve day-to-day incidents/issues.
-> Previous work experience in Data migration projects and Windchill implementation with internal and external stakeholders.
-> Demonstrated work experience with Windchill PartsLink - Parts classification and supplier part management.
-> Integrate Windchill with ERP and other business applications (GitLab, Altium and etc.) as per roadmap.
-> Knowledge of various Windchill modules/add-on and its capabilities and functions.
