Position Summary:
Responsible for developing custom applications to improve process efficiency in the engineering department. The programs to be developed can be Windchill customizations, CAD Automation for Creo, ThingWorx applications or other custom tools. Works closely with business users and IT teams to accomplish the tasks.
Work Youll Do:
- Customize PLM methods with Windchill API, Info*Engine and UI customization.
- Develop programs in Windchill PDMLink [Workflow, CAD Integration, UI, Migration, Data Loaders] based on J2EE technologies.
- Build applications for end users in ThingWorx that gather data from multiple sources (SAP, Windchill, etc.)
- Understand CAD Automation process and participate in development of programs.
- Maintain Gitlab following current standards and propose improvements where necessary
Team:
- This role will be a part of the Global Engineering systems team, providing CAD and PLM software solutions and implementation, process improvement, automation approach and technical support for global engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduated with Computer Science Engineering or related
Minimum 5 Years Of Industry Experience In PLM
Windchill APIs, Windchill Customization Methodologies (Services, JCA, Template Processors, Info*Engine, EAI, SOA) , ThingWorx programming, REST API, JSP, Servlet, Services, Scheduling, Applets, Applications, JavaScript, HTML, SQL Query, Creo toolkit, CI/CD
Knowledge & experience in Build and Release process
Strong experience in Windchill solution design, data modelling
Developed applications/ solutions using REST APIs in a PLM environment, ThingWorx applications, CAD Automation, Windchill automation
Preferred Qualifications:
Integration experience with enterprise applications like Windchill, SAP / Oracle ERP etc.,
Review requirements from customers and assess PLM development efforts.
Knowledge in reporting and data analytics tools.
