Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Lab Instructor to join our advanced manufacturing team. This role is critical in providing hands-on training and guidance in the fields of Mechatronics, PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, and Modular Production Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced manufacturing technologies, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students and industry professionals.
  • Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Management:
Maintain an inventory of equipment, tools, and materials required for lab activities.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lab space, adhering to safety Collaborate with relevant departments to procure and maintain lab equipment, including regular maintenance, repair, and calibration.
Develop and implement laboratory safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safety training for students and staff.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices in laboratory management and safety.
  • Instruction and Training:
Conduct practical and theoretical classes to teach students the fundamentals of Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Plan and organize lab activities and experiments to provide students with hands-on experience in Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
  • Lead instructional sessions in a laboratory environment, providing hands-on training to students using MPS stations.
Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to facilitate their learning.
  • Participant Guidance:
Offer guidance and support to participants during laboratory sessions, helping them understand and apply manufacturing concepts.
  • Address participants questions, concerns, and difficulties, providing timely assistance.
Foster a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere.
  • Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, address any potential hazards, and maintain a culture of safety awareness.
Establish emergency protocols and procedures.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
Administer assessments in a fair and standardized manner, maintaining the integrity of the evaluation process.
  • Monitor and supervise students during examinations and practical assessments, ensuring a secure and ethical testing environment.
Assess participants practical skills and knowledge, providing constructive feedback Collaborate with the education team to track and report on participant performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
Report to the Course Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, equipment usage, and inventory.
Prepare reports on laboratory operations, training outcomes, and any issues or incidents.
  • Document participants progress and performance.
  • Preferred Candidate Profile:
Proven experience and expertise in Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, with a strong understanding of industrial automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Proficiency in HMI design and implementation.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and data acquisition.
Certification in relevant PLC and HMI systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and foster a positive learning environment.
Dedication to staying current with industry advancements and continuous improvement in teaching method.
  • Educational Qualification &Experience: -
5-7 years experience for a B.E./B. Tech engineering degree with 2-3 years training experience
  • 8-10 years experience Diploma with 2-3 years training experience or higher in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Key Skills: -
The ideal Instructor in Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MPS should possess a well-rounded skill set encompassing technical expertise, teaching proficiency, and a commitment to safety and student success.
  • Familiarity with relevant industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus).
Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools used in Mechatronics, PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,
  • 00 - 40,000.00 per month
